With our small-town charm, affordable prices, and a friendly community of staff and musicians, we are here to help with every aspect of a musician’s life. We leap at the opportunity to help every aspiring musician become acquainted with the world of musical instruments. We feel so lucky to have our son take lessons here! The teachers are amazing-relaxed, happy, and seriously talented. My son has now been taking lessons for a year and it’s incredible how much he’s learned and how far he’s come. Although everyone there is just lovely, we feel especially happy to have Jeff teach our son guitar lessons. He’s a fantastically talented and kind teacher. I highly recommend Flatts & Sharpe and think the world of Jeff.

Thank you so much for bringing more music into the world. Teach a child to play and the music will never die. I highly recommend their teachers for any age group.

Guitar player and drummer and they both have had the most positive experience taking classes here – and for guitar player, this is his 3rd music school. Teachers are passionate and patient and their “band” program is top notch.

A Rogers Park institution with a warm, community atmosphere. What I love most is the browsing, appreciating and exchanging shared interests. This history and how it’s endured since the ‘70’s. Great musicians/teachers, staff. Love of and expertise in music that helps anyone interested, find what they need to develop themselves. Beautiful instruments and music, they repair instruments, plus a lovely venue for their concert series.
