Dana Hsu is a violinist and pianist from Indianapolis. Since the age of five, Dana has been playing and experimenting with stringed instruments.
She is a 2020 graduate of DePauw University’s School of Music.
At DePauw’s School of Music, Dana earned her Bachelor’s in Musical Arts with an Emphasis in Business.
Dana believes playing an instrument is as much about learning practical life skills like time management, as it is developing one’s creativity. Her favorite part about teaching is watching her students learn that practicing doesn’t have to be a chore! In her spare time, Dana likes playing the guitar and ukulele as a hobby. She also loves to cook and hopes to be in a homecook competition one day.
When she’s not teaching or working at Flatt’s and Sharpe, she also manages Resonance Treble Ensemble, a treble chamber choir formed by her and her friends from DePauw School of Music.
