All Ages Rock Show - Norwood Park Sign Up

Twice a year, Flatts and Sharpe shows off their students’ hard work in a spectacular showcase by forming bands with our students. The groups are based on similar taste in music, age, and personality. We have found having a goal to apply musical skills that have been learned is invaluable. You will be amazed at how students’ practice time increases as well as a renewed interest in their instrument develops! These shows have been a great time for everyone involved and draw attendance of over 200 hundred people. We are getting ready for our next show and would love if you could participate.

Note: You do not have to be a student at Flatts and Sharpe to be in a band!

Band practices are held at Flatts and Sharpe Norwood Park in our ensemble room. They will be 1 hour long and a band instructor will be there to coordinate the band. We need to get at least 8 practices in before the show. Band practices will start the week of August 11th and will be held on weekends. Specific dates and times will be coordinated with the band instructor. Students wanting to participate in the rock band experience will continue their private lessons as well as commit to the 8 band practices.
